Um....what? These lyrics are sort of messed up, but that is what happens when you fight, stuff gets messed up. Never the less, an amazing bluesy song by a woman with a powerful voice that will smack you in the face!
Florence and The Machine - Kiss With A Fist

This song sounds like it could have came straight out of the Motown 60's when soul and R&B dominated. Surprisingly this amazing throwback is only a few years old. If that bass line doesn't get you, I suggest you check your pulse.
Fitz and The Tantrums - Breakin' the Chains of Love

Mmm, Swedish girls covering some mountain man music. I like very much! Also I should get double points because not only is this a "F" band but it's also a cover of an "F" band. musicnerdpoweractivate!
First Aid Kit - Tiger Mountain Peasant Song (Fleet Foxes Cover)

I will quite often play this song just before going to bed.

We want to make sure your experience here is awesome so we have decided to give you a little tutorial on how the blog works. Below in the posts you will see a bunch of rambling words. Under that you will see something that looks like this...

Artist - Song Name

Both the artist and song name are clickable links, and each one will take you to a different destination. If you click on the artist or band name you will be directed to their home on the internet. If you click on the song name you will be directed to the YouTube video for that song. Not all videos are music videos that you can watch, in fact a lot of them are not. We chose not to put the videos on the actual blog page because, quite frankly there are those of us who don't have badass internet and would rather not wait around all day for 50 YouTube videos to load. All links will only last as long as the site/video is up on it's respective site. If something isn't there any longer you're going to have to go old school and Google it (or whatever search engine you kids use these days). We will try to make all links open up in a separate window so you don't have to keep hitting the back button, we want you to explore our site, not lose it in a fury of fun internet pages.

We are just now rolling out our RopBopBlog YouTube Channel. Please check it out. Eventually it will host all of our old mixes, and future monthly wrap-ups where we pick the best of the best for that month and make a nifty little playlist for you. Please subscribe to get all the fresh content.
